The Allan Handelman Show
For June 30th, 2002
|
|
This week'sAllan Handelman Show show is wide-open. So many
interesting things happened this week, we've decided to leave
most of the show open. It's a great time to deal with some
of the issues you probably have strong opinions about.
|
|
|
In addition, we'll have a complete update on the death
of John Entwistle, and look at the future of The Who. Entwistle's
death comes on the eve of the start of the band's first date
in Las Vegas (6/28) of what was to be an extensive North American
Tour.

Plus, Bruce Mirken of
The Marijuana Policy Project will join us to discuss this
week's court decision allowing students to be subjected random
drug tests. That's Bruce in the photo being arrested and forcibly
removed by police after blocking the entrance to the Department
of Justice in Washington, D.C. He had been demonstrating for
patients' rights to use medical marijuana.

Also this week, from the "Cool Stuff"
category, Allan will talk about his experiences with another
innovative product he had a chance to check out recently.
(During these short 5-minute segments, Allan reviews innovative
products based on his own real world testing.)
This time we take a look at the
Explorer 2 Tent , invented by Claude Catania of DAC Inc.
It's a tent that converts SUVs into complete mobile campers.
Very cool! If you mention The Allan Handelman Show, you will

| Special note from the Webmaster - I will be on vacation the
weekend of July 6th and 7th and will not be able to update the
web page for that week's show. If you have not already signed
up for the weekly email newsletter, this would be a good time
to do so! You will get one, sometimes two emails a week at most
and we NEVER give away or sell your address. |
