The
Allan Handelman Show" is more than a talk show. But, how do
you describe it to new listeners?
It's Exploration radio! Riveting, mind-stretching radio that has
always been much more than a talk show. It's the mesmerizing stuff
that makes you say, "oh wow", with truly compelling guests
you will never forget. There is a special energy and intensity about
"The Allan Handelman Show" that has often been often imitated,
but never duplicated. For the past two decades, it's been truly
unlike any other talk show in America, and it continues to be the
talk show for people who don't listen to talk shows.
Last week, The Allan Handelman Show took a long hard look at marijuana
and what it means to the Rock culture. From the drug war to entertainment,
we dealt with it all.
Our guests included, Shelby Chong, the wife of Tommy Chong who
is now serving time for agreeing to sell bongs through the Internet.
After Shelby announced on our show that she would be suing Bill
O'Reilly for the comments he made on the The Tonight Show,
O'Reilly changed his view and did his homework. He also presented
his revised opinion on this case Tuesday on his own show The
O'Reilly Factor. Up until our show last week, most of the news
media lost interest in Tommy's case, but thanks to many Allan Handelman
Show listeners, there's a lot going on in the Free Tommy movement.

This
week's Allan Handelman Show will be like sitting around the
campfire and telling scary Halloween stories, except the stories
you'll hear will be true. Join us as best-selling paranormal expert
Brad Steiger examines the creatures that dwell in the shadows. We'll
separate the urban legends from reality as we cover everything from
phantom hitchhikers to vampires on campus. They are known by many
names: ghosts, poltergeists, werewolves, aliens, vampires, ET's,
and others. But they all have two things in common: we fear them
and despite what some people say, they are real. VERY REAL!
Also
this week, Dannion Brinkley will be dropping by. Brinkley has had
3 near-death experiences, which left him with the ability to communicate
with the dead. Both the book and movie Saved by the Light
were based on Dannion's near death experiences. We were skeptical
until he started taking your calls and communicating with your dead
loved ones. He was incredibly accurate. Keep an open mind and be
here Sunday night for a show people will be talking about on Monday.
Dannion will be coming to the UFO convention in Charlotte, NC November
21-23.

OF SPECIAL INTEREST TO ALLAN HANDELMAN SHOW LISTENERS. THIS IS
A SAD STORY ABOUT OUR OLD FRIEND AL "GRAMPA MUNSTER" LEWIS.
If you would like to write to him use the address below.
(New York, NY) -- Former actor Al Lewis, who played the wise-cracking
vampire Grandpa on the 1960s sitcom "The Munsters," has
awoken from a month-long coma -- and he's still cracking wise. According
to New York's "Newsday," the 93-year-old has experienced
a series of health problems since his June 30th angioplasty surgery
at Manhattan's Mount Sinai Hospital, beginning with the need for
an emergency bypass. When complications arose, doctors had to amputate
Lewis' right leg just below the knee, as well as all five toes on
his left foot. He fell into a coma soonafter. Waking up from his
state of suspension recently, Lewis reportedly said, quote, "Why
me? Who chose me for this role? I don't remember auditioning for
this."
