The Allan Handelman Show
For December 10th, 2000
|
Rush rocked the music world for over 30 years with 22 gold and
platinum albums. Then in 1997 they disappeared. Why?
What happened? We'll find out this week as The Allan Handelman
Show welcomes back bassist and vocalist Geddy Lee, for a rare live
interview. My Favorite Headache marks the solo debut from
Geddy Lee. Joining him on his solo stage are guitarist
and multi-instrumentalist Ben Mink, drummer Matt Cameron of Pearl
Jam and Soundgarden and Jeremy Taggart of Our Lady Peace. "It
was an opportunity to do things in a way that I couldn't do things
in the context of the band," says Lee. "I didn't have to
be democratic and I didn't have the pressure of having to live up
to some preconceived notion of what the music is supposed to sound
like". |

Also
this week, learn how find anybody anywhere! Famed NY detective
Joseph Culligan will demonstrate his little-known search techniques
used to reunite people and investigate stories on many major TV shows.
During our show he will find deadbeats, old roommates, lost loves,
or anyone you want live on the air. He'll even check if anyone
owes you money. Joseph's
services are used extensively by Dateline, 20/20, 60 Minutes,
Montel, Rosie and many other major talk and news programs. His
other books include You Can Find Anybody, When In Doubt, Check Him
Out, and Requirements To Become A PI In 50 States And Elsewhere.
