Allan's special guest this week is George Carlin!
Allan calls him, "The First Rock N Roll Comedian".
Even though he's one of America's most popular comedians,
he has never stopped serving the counter-culture. He has released
18 comedy albums (four of them gold), winning three Grammy
awards, and he's performed 11 solo HBO comedy specials
(more than anyone, by far) winning six Cable Ace awards, and
5 Emmy
nominations along the way. In addition, his 1997
book, Brain Droppings, spent 40 weeks on the New York Times
best-seller list. In his latest book Napalm & Silly Putty,
Carlin takes on the tough issues, unafraid to pose questions
few people dare ask. And as always, we'll bring up the
subjects and topics that other talk shows are afraid to ask.
