Matthew Curran at "The Bitter End" Plus, KIDS THAT ROCK! Just when many people started to give up on the future of Rock because so many kids were into Rap, there now emerge several young bands that are tearing up the music industry. This week The Allan Handelman Show introduces you to some kid musicians who may become the Rock Heroes of the future. Featured guests include:

Matthew Curran. He just turned 12 and he's opening for Dio, Scorpions and Deep Purple on their current tour. Check out: MatthewCurran.com

Click to listen to Fifty-50 Fifty-50 is another kid band that will blow you away. Fifty-50 is a powerful band. Packed with talent, creativity and an electric energy that is addictive, they are quickly establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with. All of this and the oldest member of the band is 15. Also this week, has Uncle Sam lured your kid into taking drugs?!?!

Drug Czar John P. Walters was forced to admit that the five-year, $929 million ad campaign developed by the Partnership for a Drug Free America "isn't reducing drug use". More shocking, kids who saw the ads and who did not already use drugs said they were more likely to smoke pot after watching!

And you thought the government learned it's lesson with Just Say No. George Getz, Press secretary of the Libertarian party will join us.
